At IWCS Conference 2012 Windak Inc presented its latest information on products such as NEW Spool Winder 6 - 14 andAutomatic Reeler AR24.



New Spool Winder 6- 14 is a Fully automatic, in or off line, packaging and palletizing of wire, cable and other flexible products onto spools from 165mm (6.5”) to 360mm ( 14’’) in overall diameter. Spools are automatically loaded and unloaded into/from the spooling head. Outer ends are secured with stretch wrap. All operational parameters and mechanical settings are recipe controlled in order to reduce time between product and spool changeovers. Output of the new spooler is 3 spools per minute!

The International Wire & Cable Symposium, Inc. (IWCS) hosted the 61st International Wire ∙Connectivity Symposium earlier this month in Providence, RI. The event drew 1125 registrants, representing a 10% increase in attendance over the past few years. With more than 100 exhibitors, and a shortened exhibition schedule, attendees were kept very busy with a program of over 120 technical presentations, and visits to the exhibitors.

IWCS 2012 Conference Registration

The IWCS announced today that advance registration is now available for the 2012 International Cable · Connectivity Symposium.  This year’s event takes place at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, from November 11 to 14.  The link for registration is available on the IWCS website, where attendees will also find registration links for the conference hotels.  According to John Barteld, IWCS CEO/Director, registering in advance of the Conference offers substantial cost savings compared to onsite registration.

Conference Update from IWCS, Inc.

The Board of Directors of the IWCS, in keeping with considerable feedback from the exhibitors in the Annual IWCS International Cable·Connectivity Symposium, has concluded that the exhibitor hours normally scheduled for the last day of the conference should be cancelled. 



Therefore, in Providence this November, exhibits will be open on Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13.  On the first day, there will be no competing events scheduled.  On day two, the Poster Paper session is scheduled for late in the day adjacent to the exhibits, assuring strong traffic in the exhibit hall.  The Board believes that with this revised schedule, the exhibitors ...
